Russian Federation organises Volleyball at School seminar in Chelyabinsk

Three-time Olympic medallist Vadim Khamutskikh led the Volleyball at School seminar in Chelyabinsk, Russia
Chelyabinsk, Russia, January 29, 2019 – Following last year’s successful launch of the Volleyball at School project by the Russian Volleyball Federation in St. Petersburg, Dinamo Chelyabinsk volleyball club and Ural Volleyball Association organised a seminar for students of the Special School of Olympic Sports.

The project’s mission is to promote the Olympic values through volleyball, where the youth can meet and be encouraged to participate by Olympic champions, players and coaches.

The young players had the opportunity to learn from Chelyabinsk native and three-time Olympic medallist Vadim Khamutskikh, who demonstrated the proper techniques in passing and digging.

After the seminar, the 49-year-old former national team setter attended a press conference, and then signed autographs and posed for photos with the young players.
