ITA Head Coach Guiseppe Davide Galli:
I think my players took the first set for granted. When they felt they had won for such a large difference like 8:20 it boosted up their confidence and that wasn't very good. They forgot about the rest of the match. Brazil was superior individually and they took all the chances we gave to them. My team had a good opportunity to win this championship and I believe they let it slip by.

ITA Captain Alice Lo Cascio:
We are very disappointed to loose this game. The first set really made us undertake details and made us forget that the match was not ours. This was clear and the team left many important key points behind.

BRA Head Coach Luizomar de Moura:
Well I'm very happy with today's match. Italy is a great team and an old adversary. We fought to win this match and got the result back! The first set was difficult for us because we lost really fast! But my words to them were to forget about the loss, concentrate on the next set and play point by point. It was important to look at the game with a different perspective and I believe it worked perfectly. My team has been working together since March and a lot has happen. They kept their team spirit very much alive and it has grown stronger. We have a saying that is our team's motto - a player can win a match but a team can win a championship!

BRA Captain Betina Schmidt:
We are very happy about this victory! Our team worked really hard to be here! We have been thru a lot since we started training and that strength our relationship. We never gave up even when we were losing the first set! We really want to win this championship!!!
