Venezuela Keep Olympic Hopes Alive
Venezuela kept alive their hopes of qualifying for their first Olympics when they defeated a much-improved Kazakhstan 3-0 on Saturday in their second game of the Mens Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Porto.
But Venezuela need to win their final match on Sunday, against hosts Portugal, and also rely on results in the other games to go their way, if they are to reach the Athens. The result, on top of Kazakhstan's straight-sets defeat to Portugal, ended the Asian team's chances of reaching their first Olympics.

Poland Down Hosts in Five-Set Thriller
Poland moved to within touching distance of the Olympics on Saturday when they downed hosts Portugal in a five-set thriller for their second win of the Olympic Qualifying Tournament in Porto.
The victory leaves Poland as the only unbeaten side in the competition and a win on Sunday against Kazakhstan, who have lost both their games without claiming a set, will guarantee them a spot in Athens.
