2005 Junior Men’s U 21 World Championship
Vizakhapatnam, India
6 – 14 August 2005

Press conference

Cuba beat Korea 3-0 (25-13, 25-20, 25-16) - duration 1:08
11-Aug, start time: 10:00, end time: 11:08 - Attendance: 300
City: Visakhapatnam; Hall : Port Turst Rajiv Gandhi AC Stadium
LAWRENCE GARCIA RAMON (CUBA HEAD COACH): It was very different compared to the India match. Against India we lost many serves, but against Korea our serving was very good and Korea could not make any combinations.

YADIER SANCHEZ (CUBA CAPTAIN): We knew it was a very important match because the winner would be qualified for the semi-finals. We expected it to be hard, but our tactics were very good, and our serve and blocking.

LEE KYUNG-SUK (KOREA HEAD COACH): All the Cuban players are at a high level. They take a player out but his replacement is just as good. This keeps the pressure on you all the time. In comparison, we are smaller and the players do not have as much experience of playing at this level.

LEE JONG-HWA (KOREA CAPTAIN): We lost the game because of our blocking. It was very hard to stop the Cuba team.
