China was too fast for France

FRANCE

Captain Benjamin Toniutti: "Congratulations to China which is a very good team. To beat a team like China you have to serve very well and we did not do that today."

Head Coach Jocelyn Trillon: "I think this was one of the best matches of the tournament so far. China has a good setter who moves the ball real well. They have a lot of movements and quick combinations for their attacks and our blockers could not move that fast. They also have very good serve and I think that if they continue to play like this, they are going to be in a good place at the end of the competition. As for France, we need to come back tomorrow against Belgium and look for a victory hoping to make the semi finals."

CHINA

Captain Li Runming: "We played incredible tonight with a lot of enthusiasm. The psychological factor was also important because we went to the court with good concentration. We also prepared very well for this match."

Player Huang Bin: "We played as a unit, very compacted. France played well but our team was very strong tonight. It was not easy but I am very happy with the victory."

Head Coach Li Mu: "I don’t think it was as easy as it may look. The French team is very strong. We prepared very well for this match and we hope to continue playing as good as we did today. That is my hope."
