MEXICALI, Mexico.- August 21, 2007.- For second consecutive day Mexico delighted the local crowd with a five-set victory with the Egyptian team being the victim this time. One night earlier the host team edged USA going to the limit.

The Mexican squad won by scores of 21-25, 25-21, 18-25, 25-23, 15-11 with Francisco Enriquez leading the victorious path with 20 points and Leonardo Manzo and Juan Arriola contributing 19 and 16 tallies respectively.

Egypt had four players in double figures with Mamdouh Abd El Rehim recording 16 points, Mohammed Elmetwaly and Youseff Raafat each adding 12 and Ahmed Mohammed chipping in 11.

The partisan crowd heavily supported the local team and Enriquez and Manzo seemed to get a huge boost and produced strong spikes sending Mexico to a 2-0 mark in Pool G. Egypt fell to 0-2 record.
