Argentina won Brazil for the first time: 3-0 (25-20, 25-21, 25-21)
 

Emotional victory that Argentina celebrates with joy

Argentina jumped to 7-1 lead and then 8-3. With an inspirited Facundo Conte, the boys of Juan Cichello managed to reach the first technical time out at 16-11 and moved ahead 21-18 after Brazil's efforts failed off. Argentina won the first set 25-20 with a huge Rodrigo Aschemacher in attack and blocking.

The Argentine boys remained on their relentless attacks in the second set. Argentina Pablo Hruby helped the team come ahead at 8-4 and 16-14, before Aurelio Figuereido and Isac Santos stretched the difference. Argentina tried to bag some more credits and their intention came to life when they reached another set point and win 25-21.

The Argentine run continued in the third set, where they took command to lead 8-5 and 12-6, thanks to Facundo Conte’s spectacular spikes. Brazilians Levi Cabral and Tiago Wesz made solid blocks to help the team come close and draw 13-13 and 14-14, but Argentina had enough to hold them off and led 16-14 in the second technical time out. No matter what were the tactics Brazil used, because Argentina, with an spectacular Rodrigo Ronda, won the set 25-21 and the match 3-0 in 79 minutes. The best scorer was Facundo Conte with 19 points.
