Blain happy with results in Pool E

The French fans are happy with their country's results, a 3-0 win over China and a 3-0 record in Pool E.

Turin, Italy, September 28, 2010 - France v China press conference.

France captain Olivier Kieffer: "We are very happy to close the pool with a great large 3-0 win. Also, because many young players have played this match. And now the competition goes on with the pool in Milan, in which we try to do the best."

China captain Shen Qiong: "First of all, congratulations to France. Even if it's full of young players, it is a great team. We are out and now we start to prepare for Asian Games."

France coach Philippe Blain: "Obviously we are happy for the result. We played great Volleyball in this pool, even if tonight we could be better. In the end of the match we try a lot of players, because we have to recharge energy."

China coach Zhou Jianan: "Our team lost these three matches because of the difference in quality. We learned a lot in this World Championship, even though we are going home."

From Mixed Zone
France player Pierre Pujol: “I didn’t think we would have been in first place in Pool E ranking, considering the presence of very important teams as Bulgaria and Czech Republic in our pool. We’re very happy for this result. We played in a good way during these first round matches. Our fans were very happy too. In the next round we’ll play with Japan and the losing team between USA and Argentina. It will not be an easy pool. We now have to take some rest, since we’re very tired after this first round.”
