Norimasa Sakakuchi was born in Japan in 1946. He was a
professor at Kaetsu University and led that school's women's team to many
titles in the Japan National University League.
He also coached the Japanese National University Women's
Team at the World Univerisade Games.
Sakakuchi was hired as head coach of the Chinese Taipei
Junior Women's Team in 2006, and helped our Youth Girl's team finish fourth at
the Asian Youth Girl's Volleyball Championship in 2007.
In 2008, Sakakuchi led our Junior Women's team to silver
at the Asian Junior Women's Championship held in Taipei.
He says his ambition is to help our team finish sixth at
the Women's World Championship in 2009.
We think he Sakakuchi can produce an era of progress for
our team and lay down a solid foundation for a new generation of players.
