Georg Grozer: The Endgame

Georg Grozer hits past the France block in Berlin
Lausanne, Switzerland, January 21, 2020 - Prior to the start of the European Tokyo Volleyball Qualification tournament over a week ago, opposite hitter Georg Grozer said it would be the last time he would play for Germany if they did not qualify for the Olympics.

With France winning the final match against Grozer and team, this highlight video will remind us how hard he fought for his team despite suffering an injury.

"It was more than a pleasure to stand next to Grozer for more than six years and for his last game for Germany. He was a great sportsman for the national team and taught me and many others so much! He is a player who will never give up and will fight for his dreams," said setter Jan Zimmermann.
