Juantorena makes comeback for 4th MVP award

 
Osmany Juantorena was named MVP of the 2017 FIVB Men's Club World Championship.
 
Krakow, Poland, December 17, 2017 - After five years and for the fourth time in the history of the competition, Cucine Lube Civitanova spiker Osmany Juantorena has been named Most Valuable Player at the 2017 FIVB Men's Club World Championship in Krakow. He heads a Dream Team of the top players of the competition.

Outside hitters: Wilfredo Leon (Zenit Kazan) & Yoandy Leal (Sada Cruzeiro)
Middle blockers: Alexey Samoylenko (Zenit Kazan) & Robertlandy Simon (Sada Cruzeiro)

The 32-year-old Cuban-born Italian had been named MVP three times before, while playing for the gold-medal-winning team of Trentino in 2010, 2011 and 2012. He is the only player in the history of the competition to have received the award more than once.
