World Grand Champions Cup: Iran outlast USA in five sets

Iran are the only unbeaten team at the 2017 edition of the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Grand Champions Cup
Nagoya, Japan, September 13, 2017 – Iran rallied from two sets down to win 3-2 (20-25, 17-25, 27-25, 25-21, 15-12) against USA in the 2017 FIVB Volleyball Men's World Grand Champions Cup.

Iran are off to a great start at the World Championship as the only team without any losses on the second day of competition. Five of their six victories at the World Grand Champions Cup have come in five sets.

The Men’s World Grand Champions Cup features a total of six teams that play in a round-robin tournament from September 12 to 17. Nagoya and Osaka host the seventh edition of the tournament.
