This match was our best one, says Netherlands coach Morisson

Kaliningrad, Russia, July 16, 2017 - Netherlands earned the victory in the match with the Russian hosts in three straight sets 3-0 (25-18, 25-22, 25-16) as the coach Jamie Morisson is proud of the team.

Netherlands coach Jamie Morisson: The team gets better every single match, this match was the best one. I’m proud and happy for my team. Our goal is to improve every single day.

Netherlands captain Maret Balkestein-Grothues: It was a great match for us, we did a very good job at our serve and put a lot of pressure. We were better today in every aspect, we deserved victory.

Russia coach Vladimir Kuzyutkin: Netherlands team is a stable and a well built. We played with a will to win and enthusiasm. Our players are new and they need a lot of practice. We failed to play fast. We will do our best to improve it.

Russia captain Irina Zaryazhko: We didn’t play good in defense and attack tonight, but we didn’t give up.
