European pairs dominate semifinals draw at Langkawi

Langkawi, Malaysia, April 15, 2017 – Six European sides – three men and three women – booked their spots in the semifinals of the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour – Malaysia Open at Meritus Pelangi Beach Resorts & Spa in Langkawi on Sunday.

Austrian twin sisters Nadine and Teresa Strauss will face Czech Republic’s Martina Bonnerova and Sarka Nakadalova in the first women’s semifinal match, while compatriots Cornelia Rimser and Lena Plesiutschnig will play the United States’ Emily Stockman and Kimberly Dicello in the second semifinal match.
