Solomon Islands will have their 10th Annual Volleyball National Championship in Honiara City from March 25 to 28
Honiara, Solomon Islands, February 15, 2016 – A total of SBD$26,000 cash prize is up for grabs in the 10th Annual Volleyball National Championship, which is an open category for men’s and women’s teams set to take place in the capital from March 25 to 28.

Arasina, the defending champions of both categories, are out to prove it again this year. Meanwhile, the other teams have intensified their training and have shown their great anticipation for the upcoming championship. The competition will highlight the participation of all affiliates, including the provincial teams, Honiara teams, and senior national players.

A coaching course will also be conducted in Honiara from March 21 to 25, which will also be organised by the federation before the much-anticipated national championship.

The local organising committee have been working tirelessly to make a successful and exciting championship, which will highlight the opening ceremony, where the FIVB instructor from the coaching course will be the guest of honour.
