It's all about the experience for Iranian beach stars

Lausanne, Switzerland, February 10, 2016 – The chance to play against some of the world’s top beach volleyball players does not come round too often for some of Iran’s beach volleyball stars, so when the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour 2016 begins with the Kish Island Open on Monday they are hoping to take full advantage.

Saber Houshmand, Parviz Farrokhi and Agh-Mohammad Salagh are just three of the players set to welcome the world’s best to Iranian shores and despite not having the same experience as most of the teams competing, they believe the experience will help accelerate the growth of the sport in a country where volleyball is considered the more popular of the two disciplines.

The FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Kish Island Open will take place from February 15 to 19.
