World Tour Countdown -5: Alison/Bruno win five consecutive titles

Lausanne, Switzerland, February 10, 2016 - There are only five days to go until the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Kish Island Open, the same number of consecutive victories for Brazil’s Alison Cerutti and Bruno Oscar Schmidt on the 2015 World Tour.

The dynamic duo had a banner year in 2015 by conquering five consecutive titles, including the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships The Netherlands 2015, the FIVB Swatch Beach Volleyball Gstaad Major, the Yokohama Grand Slam, the Long Beach Grand Slam and the Olsztyn Grand Slam.

The Brazilian pair also posted three podium placements and four final four finishes in their first season together in 2014.

With the experience of Alison and the vigour of Bruno, the combined presence of these two create an electrifying vibe on the court, just like when they nailed the championship point at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championship The Netherlands 2015, to upset home favourites Reinder Nummerdor and Christiaan Varenhorst in the men’s final.
