World Tour Countdown -4: Lucena/Dalhausser post four podiums

Phil Dalhausser and Nick Lucena were silver medallists at the 2015 Swatch Beach Volleyball FIVB World Tour Finals in Fort Lauderdale
Lausanne, Switzerland, February 11, 2016 - There are just four days left before the 2015/16 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour restarts at the Kish Island Open. Four is also the number of times USA’s Nicholas Lucena and Phil Dalhausser ended on the podium in 2015.

Lucena/Dalhausser made it to the podium last season with a gold in Xiamen, and silver medals at Long Beach, Sochi and the Swatch Beach Volleyball FIVB World Tour Finals in Fort Lauderdale.

Lucena also won bronze with Theo Brunner at the St. Petersburg Grand Slam last season.

The pair claimed the second podium spot at the Fort Lauderdale Swatch Beach Volleyball FIVB World Tour Finals, losing to Alison Cerutti and Bruno Oscar Schmidt of Brazil in the men’s final. The trip to the final was nevertheless worth the fight as Lucena thought he had the best match in his career.
