Best of 2015: There is no stopping Juliana

Lausanne, Switzerland, January 26, 2015 – Brazil’s Juliana Felisberta da Silva can easily be considered one of the all-time beach volleyball greats. Her supreme performance at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships The Netherlands 2015 only added to a legacy she has spent more than a decade creating.

With the international season now at an end, the FIVB is looking back at the best players from all of the major tournaments from 2015.

The 32-year-old, who scooped gold with Larissa França at the 2011 edition of the tournament in Rome, is regarded as one of the sport’s most dominating characters. Her efforts on the sand in The Hague not only saw her leave with the bronze medal with Maria Antonelli, but also the best scorer award.
