Beijing, China, January 19, 2016 - China coach Lang Ping and Wang Yucheng, a professor at the Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, got married in Beijing on Saturday.

Guests attending the wedding came from different parts of the world including USA, Italy, France, Austria and Japan.
China Volleyball Association President Yuan Weimin, FIVB and AVC Honorary Life President Wei Jizhong, former China head coach Chen Zhonghe and longstanding friends Zhang Rongfang, Cao Huiying, Zhu Ling and Li Yanjun were also present at the ceremony.

Speaking at the wedding, Lang Ping said: "I am lucky to have my husband. He is supportive, sensitive and a caring man who always gives me comfort and advice when I am stressed. We are like-minded soulmates. And I want to say my heartfelt thanks to all my friends for their thoughtfulness."

Lang Ping also thanked the Chinese fans for their support, who will be hoping for a strong result at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games after China won the FIVB Volleyball Women's World Cup in September 2015. "Thanks to all the fans for your consistent support and blessings. There is half a year before the Rio Olympic Games, and I and my team will work hard to accomplish our mission in Rio," she added.
