We played with our hearts – Brazil captain Rosamaria Montibeller

Ankara, Turkey, August 18, 2015. An emotionally tense match took place between Dominican Republic and Brazil on Tuesday at the FIVB Women’s U23 World Championship, where Brazil defeated Dominican Republic 3-2 (19-25, 25–21, 15–25, 25-22, 15-9) during tie-break booking a place in the finals. Brazil coach Wagner Coppini: It was a very difficult match and the victory of this match was that my team played with all their hearts, team spirit is the answer for today’s victory.

Brazil captain Rosamaria Montibeller: It was a very emotional match today and very challenging. We played with our hearts.

Dominican Republic coach Wagner Pacheco: We did our best as a team but it was not enough to reach the final. Brazil also performed well. All four teams in the semifinal are very strong. It will be again a very difficult game in the third place game. We will try to win it.

Dominican Republic player Jineiry Fernandez: We are very sorry to because of this defeat. We believed that we could have won but we couldn’t manage.
