Puerto Rico beat Poland to be top of Pool K

Karina Ocasio scored 24 points in Puerto Rico's 3-1 win against Poland

Carolina, Puerto Rico, July 40, 2015 - Puerto Rico beat Poland 3-1 (25-19, 21-25, 25-19, 25-18) to be top of Pool K as the only undefeated team in the Pool.

With the support of more than 2500 local fans, Puerto Rico controlled the fundamentals of the game and were resilient in recovering after Poland won the second set 25-21 to level the match at 1-1.

Led by Karina Ocasio who scored a game-high 24 points, Puerto Rico took the third set 25-19 before secure the full three points with a 25-18 fourth-set victory.

Stephanie Enright scored 17 points for the home side and Anna Grejman scored a team-high 15 for Poland.
