VCP Beach Volleyball Grassroots course completed in Swaziland

Lobamba, Swaziland, May 5, 2015 - FIVB Instructor Mr Athanasios Papageorgiou led a VCP Beach Volleyball Grassroots course in Swaziland from April 29 through to May 3 attended by 17 coaches.

The participants included school, club and national team coaches, who engaged with both the theoretical and practical elements of the course.

The VCP training programme is part of the Swaziland Volleyball Association's ongoing efforts to promote the sport in the country.

Swaziland is growing its participation in regional events and the national federation has visited 82 primary schools over the last two years, introducing the sport to over 800 boys and girls.
