VCP Refereeing Course helps Burundi referees

Burundi's referees have been improving their skills
Bujumbura, Burundi, April 15, 2015 – Burundi’s volleyball referees have improved their skills after 26 referees completed an FIVB Refereeing VCP course in the country’s capital, Bujumbura.

The course was run by Moroccan instructor Jouad Berrada from March 30 to April 3 and made up of four theoretical sessions and four practical sessions.

Two of the participants were female and of the 26 who took part, 10 achieved an A grade.

“I was happy to conduct this course especially as the participants were so motivated and disciplined,” Berrada said.

“I hope to see those referees using the knowledge they gained from the course in their future career. I want to thank Burundi Volleyball Federation and their president Louis Rwakiranya for their efforts to organise this course successfully.”
