VCP Beach Volleyball Grassroots Course opens in Uganda

Participants of the FIVB VCP Beach Volleyball Grassroots Course in Kampala, Uganda
Kampala, Uganda, April 15, 2015 – The FIVB Beach Volleyball Grassroots Course under the Volleyball Cooperation Programme started on Tuesday and will end on April 18, led by FIVB Instructor Mr Yaniv Noyman from Israel.

The course gathered 25 participants from all over the Uganda, including one from Namibia, who have some experience in the game as players, referees, administrators and officials. The participants showed a lot of motivation in learning more about the sport.

Uganda were one of the pioneers in the development of beach volleyball in Africa since 1996, which helped in the conduct of the course.

The course was well organised by the national federation led by the president of the beach volleyball committee, Mr Robert Mofaht Masaba.
