Buenos Aires, Argentina, April 14, 2015 – Argentina’s beach volleyball teams are set to benefit from the experience of Mariano Baracetti, one of the greatest ever Argentinian beach volleyball players.

Baracetti and Martin Conde won gold at the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Championships, Klagenfurt 2001 and he will share his experience in a year in which Argentina’s players compete in the World Championships in the Netherlands, the FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour and the start of the Rio de Janeiro 2016 Olympic Games qualification process.

Baracetti will travel with Argentina’s leading women’s side Ana Gallay and Georgina Klug to the Fuzhou Open in China, the opening event of the Beach Volleyball World Tour which takes place from April 21-26.

"We have the support of the Argentine Volleyball Federation and the ENARD (Argentina National Training Centre),” Baracetti said. “We have worked out a programme with the players up to the Pan-American Games in Toronto (June 10-26) and the FIVB World Tour that includes Open and Grand Slam stops.

“We will continue to check our results and work against the main target which is Argentina qualifying for the Rio 2016 Olympic Games Rio 2016.”

Argentina’s Volleyball Federation also plans on reactivating the work at their four Beach Volleyball Development Centres located in Rosario, Tucuman, Parana and Mar del Plata.
