Top three firmed up in Puerto Rico

The regular season of Puerto Rican Women's Superior League concludes in two weeks
San Juan, Puerto Rico, March 10, 2015 - The eighth week of the 2015 Puerto Rican Women's Superior League saw Caguas, Mayaguez and Juncos firm up their positions at the top of the division.

Caguas lead the standings with 41 points, the product of 13 wins and 3 losses. The Criollas have five 3-0 victories and eight 3-1 wins. Mayaguez (33, 12-4) and Juncos (30, 10-6) are in second and third place.

Ponce sit comfortably in fourth position with 26 points from an 8-8 win-loss record. Catano (18, 6-10) and Carolina (17, 6-10) follow in fifth and sixth place, respectively, while Naranjito sit at the bottom of the table with 3 points and a 1-15 mark.

The regular season runs until March 22, with the seven teams each playing 20 matches. Caguas won their two matches last week against Catano 3-0 (25-13, 25-8, 25-15) and Mayaguez 3-1 (25-27, 25-20, 25-22, 26-24).
