Japan's U23s travel to Cuba

Japan's U23s travel to Cuba for training camp ahead of Asian Men's U23 Volleyball Championship in Myanmar
Tokyo, Japan, February 19, 2015 - Japan’s U23 team have travelled to Cuba, where they will prepare for the Asian Men’s U23 Volleyball Championship in Myanmar later this year. The Asian Championship, which will take place from May 12-20, serves as a qualifier for the FIVB Volleyball Men’s U23 World Championship scheduled to take place in Dubai, United Arab Emirates from August 24-31.

The fifteen athletes participating in the Japan Volleyball Association’s development programme will be in Cuba from February 17-27, where they will train and play against local club teams. The camp will bringing together players of different ages and help them to gel as a team.
