Colorado Springs, Colorado, January 31, 2014 – The U.S. Women’s Junior National Team will prepare for the upcoming season with a new, star-studded coaching team to back them up.

Tom Hogan, associate head coach at the University of Denver and past assistant coach for the U.S. Women’s National Team (2005-2008), has been selected as head coach for the team for the second consecutive year.

University of Michigan Assistant Coach Erin Virtue and three-time Olympian Stacy Sykora will assist Hogan.

“Not only is Stacy one of the best liberos to ever play the game, but she bleeds red, white and blue,” Hogan said. “She has experienced multiple World Championships and Olympics, and she will be a key asset in preparing the team for the international stage.”

The team will compete this summer in the FIVB Volleyball Women’s U20 World Championship June 30-July 12 in Limassol and Kato Polemidia, Cyprus.
