Vienna hosts Polish beach volleyball camp

Michal Kadziola and Jakub Szalankiewicz are two of the players at the camp in Vienna
Vienna, Austria, January 22, 2015 - Some of Poland's leading beach volleyball athletes are busy training for the season ahead at a camp in Vienna, after spending time together at a resort in the Tatra Mountains.

Players participating in the camp include Grzegorz Fijalek, Michal Kadziola, Jakub Szalankiewicz, Bartosz Losiak and Piotr Kantor. They are accompanied by Martin Olejnak (coach), Grzegorz Klimek (assistant) and Marcelin Koritski (physiotherapist). Mariusz Prudel is in Lodz, where he is recovering from a broken toe, an injury he picked up in December 2014.

"This is not our first stay in Vienna. We come to the Austrian capital because there is a beautiful resort with three pitches, a gym and functional social facilities," said Olejnak. "We can also train with Austrian teams and Poland is never far away."

The Polish players will participate in another training camp in Fuerteventura in February.
