Eritrea implements African Dream Project

The African Dream Project moves ahead in Eritrea
Asmara, Eritrea, January 19, 2015 - The Eritrean Volleyball Federation has begun its implementation of the African Dream Project, a grassroots initiative launched under the patronage of FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça F°.
The programme, which will be based in four centres, focuses on getting children to play volleyball in schools and aims to involve all the relevant stakeholders, including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Sport, the Ministry of Youth, and the National Olympic Committee. It also sets out to ensure that promising young athletes are able to develop their skills so that one day they are able to join the country's national teams.

The launch of the project was covered by the official Government Newspaper of Eritrea, which is published in three languages.
