CSV Congress agenda confirmed

CSV President Rafael Lloreda will chair the South American Confederation's Congress meeting on March 6
Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, January 19, 2015 - The 69th Congress of the South American Confederation will be held in the historic city of Cartagena, Colombia on March 6, with FIVB President Dr. Ary S. Graça F° attending the event.

The presidents of the 12 South American national associations will arrive in Cartagena on March 3 and attend a series of meetings in the build-up to the Congress, with a meeting of the CSV’s Executive Committee also scheduled.

Meeting in Rio de Janeiro, CSV President Rafael Lloreda, CSV Vice-President Marco Tullio and FIVB President Graça discussed issues to be raised at the Congress, which will hear reports on key CSV initiatives, including technical development programmes, youth events and statutory issues. The ten continental competitions organised by the CSV in 2014 will be reviewed, and the two FIVB World Championships to be held in South America in 2015 - the Girls’ Under-18 World Championship in Peru and the Boys’ Under-19 World Championship to be held in Argentina - will also be presented.
