Belgrade, Serbia, December 8, 2014 - Mr Aleksandar Boricic, President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia and a FIVB Executive Vice-President, and Mr Ranko Zeravica, a renowned basketball coach, are this year’s Sports Association of Serbia laureates.

Mr Aleksandar Sostar, President of the Sports Association of Serbia, and Mr Vladimir Batez, Secretary General, handed the „Special Recognition“ awards to Mr Boricic and Mr Zeravica in a Sports Association of Serbia ceremony, which was held on Saturday at the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in Belgrade.

The "Special Recognition" award of the Sports Association of Serbia was established in 2011 to honour deserving sports officials, great athletes and people who have made a significant contribution to the results of Serbian athletes. "This is a prize for the Volleyball Federation of Serbia. We began this journey a long time ago and over the course of time, together, as a team on and off the court, we have achieved great results," said Mr. Boricic.

The ceremony was attended by Mr Nenad Golijanin, First Vice-President of the Volleyball Federation of Serbia, Mr Darko Djurickovic, National Team Coordinator, and Mr Dragoljub Milosevic, President of the Volleyball Association of Belgrade.
