Level II Coaches Course under way in Georgia

Participants in the Level II Coaches Course in Georgia
 Lausanne, Switzerland, September 10, 2014 – An FIVB Level II Coaches Course is being held in Tiblisi, Georgia. The course started on September 3 and will run to September 15. 

The course is being supervised by FIVB Instructor Athanios Papageorgiu from Greece and is a follow-up to a Level I Coaching Course held in 2012.

The Georgian Volleyball Federations believes the course serves an important role for coaching education in Georgia. The Federation is aiming to educate more coaches to work within their leagues and in their development programmes. 

The importance of the course was underlined by the participation of Georgian Volleyball Federation President Irakli Chachua as well as the head and assistant coaches of the various national teams.

The course is being run in collaboration with Olympic Solidarity.
