A VCP Level 1 Coaching Course is taking place in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania
Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, September 10, 2014 - A VCP Level 1 Coaching Course is being held in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. FIVB Instructor Alexander Leibetseder is the course director.

The course has gathered 31 participants, including six women and 25 men, in the country's largest city, Dar es Salaam. The Tanzanian National Federation invited active school teachers and coaches to participate in the eight day course, which is taking place from September 7-14.

One of the national federation's key targets has been to educate as many coaches as possible across the country. The Volleyball Cooperation Programme has helped to make this possible, with several coaching courses being staged by the FIVB in collaboration with Olympic Solidarity
in recent years.

National federation officials were in attendance at the course's opening ceremony. FIVB Instructor
Alexander Leibetseder has stated his satisfaction with the commitment of the course participants, who have a strong level of interest in volleyball and are able to take on information about the latest trends in the sport.
