Zhekov: Poland has the best spectators in the world

Gdańsk, Poland, September 5, 2014. Bulgaria beat China after 1 hour and 30 minutes match winning 3:0 (25:23, 25:23, 25:19). The final score does not really reveal how this encounter went on because Chinese resisted during the whole game.

"I do not now what happened with my team at the beginning of each set. We were not able to play our game, but luckily after second time-out we always bounced back. In result we won in straight sets. Today’s win was really important for us to forget our failure with Canada – said Danail Milushev, Bulgarian spiker, who scored 10 points in this match.

Andrey Zhekov was talking about this game on the same way. He stressed that his team showed the character inside the court. He also mentioned that Polish supporters are the best in all over the world and thanked them for the enthusiasm they showed on the stands.

Xin Geng was really disappointed with today’s result. China met some problems with tactic and the strong spikes of the Bulgarian team. In Geng’s opinion it was the main reason why his team lost.
