VCP Course for Young Players held in Syria

A VCP Course for Young Players gathered 40 participants in Syria
Damascus, Syria, September 3, 2014 - The Syrian Volleyball Federation organised a VCP Course for Young Players from August 11-15, despite difficult conditions in the country. The course was given by Syrian FIVB Instructor Mr Youssef Al-Hilbawi, who is a volleyball coach in the United Arab Emirates.

A total of 32 men and 8 women took part in the programme, which was very well received. Most of the participants had a bachelor's degree in sports and a solid background in volleyball, which created a favourable learning environment.

The course covered both practical and theoretical elements of the sport. Teaching volleyball to young players was the key topic of the seminar, which included 32 active teachers. FIVB Instructor Mr Al-Hilbawi was satisfied with the commitment of the organisers, who planned the course well, including the opening and closing ceremonies.
