Australia ramps up World League interest with radio campaign

Australia and Canada's earlier World League clashes were full of skill and excitement

Sydney, Australia, July 3, 2014 – Australia’s Volleyball Federation are ramping up the interest in their FIVB Volleyball World League match with a radio campaign to draw in the crowds.

The advert is going out over the major radio stations in Sydney and with the schools on holiday the aim is to fill the Sydney Olympic Park Arena for the matches against Canada.

Australia take on Canada at 19.00 (local time) on Saturday, July 5 and at 16.00 Sunday, July 6 in Pool C, with the teams having won a match apiece when they met earlier in the tournament.

Prior to the matches there will be a performance from Australian singer Bonnie Anderson, the first ever winner of “Australia’s Got Talent.”
