Argentina come together ahead of World Grand Prix

Argentina's women will train at the Cenard facilities
Buenos Aires, Argentina, June 28, 2014 - On Tuesday, Argentina's women's team will gather at the Cenard training facilities in Buenos Aires to prepare for the next big milestone on their schedule for 2014, the FIVB Volleyball World Grand Prix.

The team coached by Guillero Orduna come together after winning fourth place at the Pan-American Cup held in Mexico, where they finished as the best South American team and qualified for the World Grand Prix 2015, together with Colombia.

Argentina now focus on the World Grand Prix in July and August. They will take on Peru, Belgium, Canada and Puerto Rico in Group 2 in the competition's new format, hoping to repeat the positive results achieved against China and other leading teams including the Dominican Republic in previous editions.

Argentina, who are going into their fourth consecutive World Grand Prix, will also play hosts to a weekend of the Intercontinental Round for the first time. Fans will be able to cheer for their team at the new state-of-the-art Lomas de Zamora stadium.
