Santa Fe, Argentina, May 28, 2014 - Argentina's girls' youth team obtained two more victories over Peru, making it four wins in four matches played between both teams in what is part of coach Mauro Silvestre's team's preparations for the South American Championships.

The match on Saturday took place in Santa Fe. On Sunday, the two teams met in San Carlos Centro.

The first of the two games, which was played at the Club Banco de Santa Fe, was spectacular. Peru took the lead twice, but Argentina
recovered their confidence to celebrate victory in a very close battle 3-2 (23-25, 25-14, 23-25, 25-15, 16-14).

Agostina Soria topped the scoring with 18 points, including four aces. Victoria Michel Tosi scored 9 blocks.

In San Carlos, which also hosted the traditional U-14 Championship at the weekend, the match was a demonstration of the superiority of the Argentine team, who won 3-0 (25-16, 25-14, 25-15).

With four victories, Argentina won the friendly tour. They will hope to perform well at the South American Championships, which are qualifiers for the 2015 World Championship.
