Children practice their skills at mini-volleyball festival in Palestine

150 children participated in the mini-volleyball festival

Lausanne, Switzerland, April 28, 2014 – A mini-volleyball festival was organised at the Beir Zeit University in Palestine on April 26 under the patronage of the Palestine Volleyball Association. Head Coach Rani Asfour led the proceedings, which attracted 150 children from the territories and about 400 spectators.

The festival, which was organised in cooperation with the Palestine Volleyball Association, drew attention from television, radio and written press.  Palestine TV, Maan-Mix TV, Qatar Cup TV, Aljazeera TV, Palestine Radio, Raya FM Radio, Bethlehem Radio, Alquds Press and Alayyam Press reported on the event.

Different towns, cities, schools and universities across Palestine have asked to host mini-volleyball festivals. The Palestine Volleyball Association aims to involve as many children as possible in future events.
