Lausanne, Switzerland, April 9, 2014 – The Nauru Volleyball Association, with FIVB support, organized a VCP Young Players Course from April 1 to 5.

The programme was led by German instructor Dr. Christian Kröger. The four boys and nine girls on the course were all from the host country.

Nauru is the smallest island republic in the world with an eventful history.

Dr. Kröger received permission from the Ministry of Education to teach in classes at Nauru College and Nauru Secondary School and this helped ensure that the course was a great success.

All the young participants were eager to learn and they were very interested in the topics of the course.

The national TV station made an attractive and lengthy TV program about the lessons, and this will be shown in the country’s schools.
