Development and video sections added to CEV website

A video and development section were recently added to the CEV website
Luxembourg, April 11, 2014 - A series of extra pages were just added to the CEV website that now features a special section for development and media. There is more to come but for the time being all volleyball fans can start surfing through these extra pages and get familiar with the content available there.

The CEV website now features a media library that will be expanded step by step; there you can retrieve some videos recapping the highlights of the latest CEV competitions and events.

You can now start with some materials that were produced last year in conjunction with the CEV VELUX Volleyball European Championship – Men co-hosted by Denmark and Poland, whose last stage was held at Parken stadium in Copenhagen. An additional video produced ahead of the most successful CEV Beach Volleyball European Championship ever held last year in Klagenfurt is available as well together with impressions from the CEV 40th Anniversary Gala and the official opening of the CEV headquarters in Luxembourg City. More videos will follow soon but for the time being just make sure you add this page to your bookmarks! The media section also includes an e-book library where national federations, clubs and media can retrieve the latest version of the official regulations currently in place for the various CEV competitions as well as other useful documents.

The development section is also a valuable addition to the CEV website. It features an overview of the FIVB/CEV Regional Volleyball Development Centres (RVDCs); more information will be added soon, with a focus on courses to be held in each of these “hubs” for Volleyball excellence.

The CEV website remains a work in progress with the mission to provide fans and media alike with as much information as possible in order to follow all competitions as well as the many actions that the European Volleyball Confederation is pursuing in order to continue with its extensive promotion of Volleyball and Beach Volleyball across the Continent.
