Argentina's city of Tucuman gets prepped for South American Beach Volleyball Tour stop


Tucuman, Argentina, April 7, 2014 – The seventh stop of the South American Beach Volleyball Tour is due to start in Argentina and the city of Tucuman is gearing up to host the event, which promises great entertainment, outstanding performances and diffusion of the action to a large audience.

The is the first time that the event will be held in Tucuman city and will take place from April 11 to 13 and the Organising Committee are preparing for the arrival of the different officials and delegations. A General Technical Meeting will take place this Friday, officially opening the event.

The matches will take place at the Hilton Garden Inn Hotel, a five star hotel that will welcome teams from Brazil, Chile, Uruguay, Paraguay, Peru, Colombia, Venezuela and the host country Argentina in four newly built courts with a tribune that can seat five thousand people.

Aside from the excitement of each match, the Local Organising Committee is also working hard to generate side events and the beach volleyball party will include live music bands from the host country.  

Argentina has held stops of the South American Beach Volleyball Tour in Mar del Plata, Rosario and Santa Fe. This will be a historical event for the north of the country that will enjoy a high level beach volleyball event featuring the best teams of the Continent.
