FIVB photo contest exposes worldwide love for volleyball

 
 

Lausanne, Switzerland, March 15, 2014 – In the midst of a groundbreaking volleyball and beach volleyball season, the International Volleyball Federation is asking fans to share their love for the sport by submitting photos of volleyball in their community.

Fans are invited to share their own photos on FIVB’s Facebook page and Instagram account, for the chance to have their images published in the FIVB’s online publication “VolleyWorld.”

To submit photos, fans are asked to respond to the Facebook post with their photo or tag #FIVB on Instagram. Submissions should also include information about where the photo was taken, the photographer’s name and a response to the question; why do you love playing volleyball?

Photos will continuously be accepted though August, leading up to the premier volleyball events of the year, the men's and women's FIVB Volleyball World Championships. 

The FIVB values its social media fans as an important factor in growing the game of volleyball, as they share their passion for the sport with those around the world. FIVB aims to form relationships with fans through social media and engage the audience to grow volleyball as one of the world's premier sports and entertainment properties.
