Argentina Boys' Youth team experience life in senior league

Buenos Aires, Argentina, March 3, 2014 – The Argentina Boys’ Youth team ended their ninth straight participation in Argentina’s ACLAV Seniors A2 League with six victories from 15 matches.

The Boys’ Youth side were playing against teams with much more experience and the participation will give them a boost for the international season as they aim to secure qualification for the 2015 World Championship.

In Jujuy Province, Julian Alvarez’s side took part in a four-team competition and acquitted themselves well in an exciting contest.

The boys’ team had chances until the last day to qualify for the semifinals, but it will now be Atletico Echague de Entre Rios, Urquiza Carlos Paz, Pilar Voley and Club Amigos who will battle for the title.

The winner of the league will participate in the next season of the ACLAV A1 Seniors Men's Team League, the most important annual competition for Argentine clubs.

The youth team will play in September’s South American Boys’ Youth Championship.
