Argentina's youth national team ready to meet challenge of Senior League

Buenos Aires, Argentina, January 15, 2014 - Argentina’s
Youth Boys’ team is undergoing demanding preparation as they take part in the
ACLAV A2 Seniors' Men Upgrading League, organised by the Argentine Volleyball
Teams League Association and the Argentine Volleyball Federation.
As they enter their
second weekend of matches on Friday and Saturday, they prepare to play against the
River Club and Club de Amigos.
It will be a
demanding weekend for the youth team who will play against two former A1
champions at the Cenard facilities, where they are coached by Julian Alvarez.
The team started on the right foot last weekend, winning their match against
Escuela Madrynense de Chubut, 3-1.
On the other side of the net, the national team rivals had a perfect
start to the tournament with River losing only one set to Atletico Echague in its second match
while Club de Amigos defeated the same rival and Parana Rowing, 3-0.
Both teams currently have six points and top pool 1. They will be on hand to help the players of
the Argentine youth team to ensure that they keep growing and improving over
2014.
There will be 13 teams taking part in the second weekend of competition,
which will start on Friday, January 17 and end on Sunday with matches
in Buenos Aires city, Parana, Tucuman and Villa Carlos Paz.
