Former volleyball players take part in Algeria coaches course

There were 24 female participants in attendance in addition to 12 men who were accepted to join the course

Algiers, Algeria, December 16, 2013 - The Algerian Volleyball Federation recently organised a Level I Coaches Course sponsored by Olympic Solidarity.

The 12 day course, led by the two Algerian instructors Mr. Abdelkader Ould Ammar and Dr. Mohamed Haceni, was organised for former players of the women’s national team.

The closing ceremony was chaired by the Minister of Youth and Sports. The President of the National Olympic Committee of Algeria, the FAVB President in addition to Mrs. Hassiba Boulmerka (former Algerian middle distance athlete) and many more guests.

The Level I Coaches Course is offered through the FIVB’s Volleyball Cooperation Programme (VCP) and is aimed at improving coaching skills and participants’ knowledge of the game.
