Algeria men prepare for World Championship qualifier

Algeria's team at the 2013 FIVB Volleyball U19 Championships
November, 16, 2013 – In anticipation for the FIVB Volleyball Men's World Championship 2014, Algeria's senior men's team is preparing for qualifications, which will take place in Tunisia, November 21 to 23.

The qualification will bring together three nations, including the host country, Tunisia, which automatically qualified for the tournament, Algeria and Morocco. In the case of qualifying for the final tournament, Algeria will be in group A, with Cameroon, Nigeria, Chad, Rwanda and Kenya.

After the final tournament scheduled for January and February 2014, the first of each group will qualify for the 2014 World Championship (3-21 September). The African continent is represented by three countries.

Algeria previously hosted the first tournament of the Pool A, from July 27-31.
