Venezuela holds five-day technical seminar for beach volleyball

 Lausanne, Switzerland, November 7, 2013 – The Development Centre in the Venezuelan capital Caracas is running a five-day technical seminar for beach volleyball coaches and athletes in the city of Mérida. 

The course is covering key topics surrounding beach volleyball, the long-term performance of athletes and how to prepare training plans for coaches.

The course is being guided by FIVB Instructor Mauro Hernandez, who has considerable experience coaching and playing beach volleyball. 

In total, 24 men and three women are taking part in the course. 

Hernandez said he was satisfied with the professionalism of the participants and their strong desire to learn. 

This is the last course of the year for the Development Centre in Venezuela and is a part of its outreach programme.
